Gas Turbine Resources completes a direct purchase of a surplus 4.5 MW Siemens SGT100 power plant from the national Power Utilities Company Seychelles located at “Victoria A” power plant Mahe Island.

The works included sale contract preparation, risk assessment necessary to undertake safe decommissioning, preparation of guidance and method statements to ensure project clarity, preparation and special delivery of GTR prepared tooling container to provide equipment resources to facilitate a difficult extraction of the equipment in an island location.

The brief included physical dismantling and removal of all the associated equipment from the power house location and extraction from the customer site, movement and loading at port and subsequent export of all equipment from the islands.
