Gas Turbine Resources completes an equipment and project sale to NNPC as joint stake holders together with Shell Petroleum to supply a fully overhauled zero hour rated Siemens TB5400 prime mover to facilitate a recovery and life extension of GT1 machine located at Shell Petroleum and Development Edjeba Training base.

The works included contract preparation, project guidance and project programs. Preparation, build and shipment of specially prepared gas turbine prime mover, comprising gas producer, power turbine and speed reduction gearbox.

Delivery of a GTR prepared comprehensive tooling container and additional spare parts supply to provide the equipment resources as required on site to facilitate the project. Works included refurbishment of all turbine package fluid systems, control systems repairs and reinstatement, supervision of alternator refurbishment and commissioning activities.
