Gas Turbine Resources completes a direct purchase of two surplus TB5400 3.5 MW mobile power plant packages from PNG Power the national electrical utility company located at two sites, Port Moresby and Lae Papua New Guinea. These engines were destined for another client of GTR’s.

The works included physical dismantling and removal of all the associated equipment from the installation, refurbishment of trailer and running gear to facilitate shipment and extraction from the customer site followed by subsequent export to Brisbane Australia where full dismantling for refurbishment took place.

Once the engines arrived in the UK, a full refurbishment program was initiated, tested, certified, fully rebuilt and ready for delivery to our customer, fully warranted.
